The Financial Times (FT) considers a variety of factors from over 1,500 qualifying RIA companies before selecting the top 300. The FT bases its selection on six broad areas and calculates a numeric score for each advisor. Areas of consideration include advisor assets under management, asset growth, company age, industry certifications of key employees, SEC compliance record, and online accessibility.
“I’m privileged to work with such a dedicated, talented team that’s passionate about helping clients achieve their life goals by empowering them financially,” said JFS Founder and President, Bob Jazwinski, “It’s an honor to receive this prestigious recognition and be among other distinguished organizations leading the RIA industry.”
Firms that qualify for the FT 300 are registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and have at least $300 million or more in assets under management. Additionally, the FT caps the number of companies from any one state, roughly based on the distribution of millionaires across the US.
