Staff Highlights: Please join us in welcoming two new hires to the JFS team — Nicole O’Connell and Michael Semanovich!

As Accounting Analyst, Nicole is responsible for evaluating fee structures, performing billing audits, and analyzing company financial data such as fluctuations in account balances, budget to actual variances, and other analytical considerations. She also assists the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and senior members of the accounting team with private equity due diligence and acquisition-related work.

As Technology Manager, Michael works closely with firm resources and team members on a regular basis, assisting with various questions they may have regarding information technology. His day-to-day efforts involve working with vendors to make sure operations run smoothly while maintaining the security of JFS’ systems and data.

Please join us in congratulating two of our team members on the achievement of additional professional certifications! Associate Advisor, Sean Gibbon, CPA/PFS, CFP®, recently earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™) credential for CPAs who specialize in various areas of financial planning. Client Relationship Specialist, Constance Amstutz, has successfully completed the Series 65 Exam, which qualifies an investment professional to operate as an Investment Adviser Representative.

Congratulations are also in order for James Riley and Josh Vass, who have both been promoted to Senior Accounting Analysts as a result of their performance and significant contributions to the accounting team. In addition to execution of their daily accounting and finance-related work, Josh and James are tasked with coaching accounting analysts and interns as well as developing new reporting packages and frameworks that provide enhanced insights to management and advisory teams.

In more exciting news, we’d like to send our best wishes to Business Retirement Plan Advisor, Ted Rhinehart, and his wife, Renee, on their recent marriage. Here’s to many happy years ahead!
