Tax planning and tax return preparation for high-net-worth clients and small businesses are critical components of our service offering. We are looking for a Regional Tax Director who can provide exceptional client service to our clients and function as a key resource for our advisory teams. This individual will lead the delivery of our tax services for their assigned region and will be a key growth driver for our tax practice.

Job Purpose: Responsible for managing the tax planning and tax return preparation process for clients. Also responsible for functioning as a tax subject matter expert in support of assigned wealth advisory teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise assigned employees on the regional tax team.
  • Provide tax services.
  • Drive revenue growth for the tax team.
  • Manage tasks to maintain client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Monitor tax law changes and develops planning strategies.
  • Coordinate compliance with required minimum distribution (RMD) Rules.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum of 8 years related work experience.
  • CPA and/or Master of Taxation degree (at least one of these is required). Must be a CPA or Enrolled Agent.
  • Extensive experience with tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a complex organization.
  • 3 or more years of management experience preferred.
